Description
Fragmentary section of the bowl of a kaolin (white clay) smoking pipe. Decorated with molded lines following the curve of the bowl, a wreath-like leaf pattern along the seam at the front of the bowl, and swags around the rim. This decoration is typical of the French pipes of the period, and may correspond to the Fiolet stems in this collection (Anthr1983_002_0069 and Anthr1983_002_0072).
